an autobiography

i loved one nightingale,
but never heard her song!!
may be i was deaf enough
for not hearing her song!!

once, she migrated to me
with brownish-white plumage,
and with a long black hair
and nested in my heart!!

she loved me before her
song whistled to many hearts,
she loved me before her
name spread across the horizons!!

my language is different from
her's, but i learned to tell her,
'neenu hadu bekku',at least
for hearing her song!!

may be i was not able to make
trills and gurgles, but
i was able to make her to
sing with an impressive range!!

as she started singing in days
and night, her nocturnal song
started attracting mates,
even though i loved her!!

as others started looking
at her with an admiration,
she started complaining
about my Corvus genus!!

as the season ends, she
migrated to some other heart,
who can speak in her language,
and who may be in the same genus!!

now am not deaf, but still
am not able to hear her song.
may be her crescendo may
wake up some other hearts !!

but, i, the stupid crow, still
loves her,without knowing that
she is a migratory bird!!
but, i, the stupid crow, still
waiting her in these concrete jungle,
to enjoy the next 'mungaru malhe'
with her and her lovely songs!!
